Felicity Hook

Felicity Hook grew up in a well to do family in London. A smart young girl her future looked exceptionally bright until she met a sly business man. He was smooth and cunning and showered her in compliments. Felicity soon fell in love with the dark haired gentleman and she let all inhibitions to the wind. Once she found out that she was pregnant not only did he abandon her, but her family cast her out, leaving her to live on the streets. So alone with no prospects, she gave birth to her son, James.

James became the joy of her life but with no money, she had no way to take care of him. So in a moment of desperation, Felicity stowed away on a ship in hopes to sail to America for a better life. Of course with a baby she was soon discovered by the crew. It was then that she realized that the ship she was on was actually a pirate ship. Holding James close to her, she defended herself against the crew. The captain saw and liked her determination and spirit. Stopping all the commotion he offered her a place in his crew. She accepted as long as she could keep James. And so she embraced the life of piracy and found that she belonged on the sea.

It didn’t take long for her to rise in the ranks. By the time James was three she had become the captain. So James grew up in piracy as a crew member to his mother but their had never been a mother and son closer. James is the definition of a mama’s boy. So when James was old enough, Felecity decided that she wanted her son to get a good education. James went off to Eton where he graduated top in his class.

Felicity was James’ role modle and when he sailed too far and was lost in the Neverseas, he desperately wanted to get back to her.
